Thinking about adding solar panels to your home?

Now available on an app near you

What if you could test how solar panels and a home battery would work for you, before you invest?  Well, our clever new app feature lets you do just that.

Using your energy data, details about your house and weather information, we can show you the actual difference solar power could make to your monthly bills and your reliance on grid energy.

If you’ve got a smart meter you can link Loop for free and take advantage of all Loop’s energy-saving features, including the solar simulator.

How does it work?

It takes only a couple of minutes to set up and, shortly after, the magic begins.

1

Confirm some details

Simply confirm your location, then use our handy in-app tool to gauge the angle of your roof and show us the direction it faces.

2

Now wait whilst we crunch some numbers

After 24 hours we’ll integrate our solar simulation for your house with your live energy usage.  Open Track to see the impact of solar and home battery on Live and Past electricity usage.

3

But that's not all

Once we have more usage data, the new Solar Playground feature show how self-sufficient you would have been with different configurations of solar arrays and battery sizes since installing Loop.

What's the Solar Playground?

4

Next step

If the numbers sound interesting, the final step is to register for updates on Loop’s forthcoming solar and battery offers.
